AIMangaMaker is dedicated to providing a safe, creative, and inclusive platform for manga, manhwa, and novel creators and readers worldwide.

1.1 Our Core Values

• Creativity: We encourage original storytelling and artistic expression
• Safety: We maintain a safe environment free from harmful, illegal, or exploitative content
• Respect: We foster a community that respects all individuals regardless of background
• Transparency: We clearly communicate our content standards and enforcement actions
• Inclusivity: We welcome diverse voices, stories, and perspectives

1.2 Who This Policy Applies To

• All users who create, upload, publish, or share content on AIMangaMaker
• All content types: manga, manhwa, novels, character designs, descriptions, comments, and reviews
• Both public and private content (private content must still comply with this policy)

2. Prohibited Content

2.1 Sexual and Adult Content (Absolutely Prohibited)

AIMangaMaker is NOT a platform for adult content. The following are strictly forbidden:

Prohibited Sexual Content:

• Hentai - Any sexually explicit manga, anime, or illustrated content
• Pornography - Any content depicting sexual acts, real or illustrated
• Nudity - Full or partial nudity showing genitals, breasts, or buttocks in a sexual context
• Sexual situations - Depictions of sexual activity, foreplay, or sexual positions
• Sexually suggestive content (NSFW) - Content with sexual themes, innuendo, or provocative imagery
• Erotic content - Stories or images with sexual themes or arousal as the primary focus
• Sexual fetish content - Content focused on sexual fetishes or kinks

What About Romance and Mature Themes?

2.2 Child Safety (Zero Tolerance)

• Sexualization of minors - Any content that sexualizes individuals under 18, real or fictional
• Child exploitation - Content depicting, promoting, or soliciting child abuse
• Grooming behavior - Content attempting to establish relationships with minors for exploitation
• Underage characters in sexual contexts - Even if fictional, this is strictly prohibited

Note: "But they're 1000 years old" or similar excuses do not make sexualized content of minor-appearing characters acceptable.

2.3 Illegal Activities

• Drug trafficking or distribution - Content promoting illegal drug sales or manufacturing
• Terrorism - Content promoting, recruiting for, or glorifying terrorist organizations
• Human trafficking - Content depicting or promoting human trafficking or slavery
• Illegal weapons - Content promoting illegal weapons sales or manufacturing
• Money laundering or fraud - Content promoting financial crimes
• Hacking or cybercrime - Tutorials or tools for illegal hacking, phishing, or cybercrime

Clarification: Fictional stories that include illegal activities as plot elements (e.g., detective solving a crime) are allowed if they don't glorify, promote, or provide instructions for illegal activities.

3. Age-Appropriate Content

3.1 Age Ratings

All projects must be tagged with an appropriate age rating:

Teen (T) - Ages 16+

• Appropriate for users 16 and older
• May contain mild violence, fantasy themes
• Romance without sexual content
• Mild language acceptable
• Examples: Most shounen/shoujo manga, adventure stories, school romance, slice-of-life

Mature (M) - Ages 18+

• Appropriate for adult users only
• May contain intense violence, dark themes
• Strong language acceptable
• Mature psychological themes (death, trauma, mental health)
• Examples: Psychological thrillers, seinen/josei manga, war stories, horror
• Still NO sexual content - Mature rating does NOT permit pornography or hentai

3.2 User Age Requirements

• Users must provide their date of birth during registration
• Falsifying your age is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in account termination
• We may request additional age verification for creator accounts (18+)
• Parents/guardians cannot create accounts on behalf of minors under 18
• Under German law (JMStV - Jugendmedienschutz-Staatsvertrag), we are required to enforce these age restrictions

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Copyright Infringement

You may NOT upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights.

❌ Prohibited:

• Copying existing manga/anime characters - Using Naruto, One Piece, etc. characters without permission
• Tracing or copying artwork - Copying someone else's art and claiming it as your own
• Using copyrighted stories - Copying plots, dialogue, or story elements from copyrighted works
• Brand/logo infringement - Using real company logos, brands, or trademarks without permission

✅ Allowed:

• Original characters and stories ONLY - Your own creative work
• Public domain works - Characters/stories where copyright has expired (70+ years)
• AI-generated with original prompts - Content generated using AIMangaMaker's AI tools with your original creative input

4.2 Plagiarism

• Do not copy other users' content from AIMangaMaker or other platforms
• Always credit inspiration or references
• Do not claim AI-generated content as entirely human-created if using AI tools

4.3 DMCA Takedowns

Copyright owners may submit DMCA takedown requests. See our DMCA Policy for details.

5. Violence and Graphic Content

5.1 Acceptable Violence

Violence is permitted within reason, depending on age rating:

• Extreme gore/torture - Graphic depictions of mutilation, dismemberment, or torture for shock value
• Real-life violence - Depictions of actual violent events (mass shootings, terrorism, etc.)
• Animal cruelty - Graphic depictions of animal abuse or torture
• Self-harm glorification - Content promoting or glorifying suicide, cutting, or eating disorders
• Snuff content - Content depicting real or realistic death for entertainment

5.3 Sensitive Topics (Allowed with Care)

The following topics are allowed if handled responsibly:

• Mental health struggles - Depression, anxiety, PTSD (must not romanticize or provide harmful advice)
• Suicide themes - May be addressed in stories about grief, prevention, or recovery (must include resources/warnings)
• Domestic violence - May be depicted in stories addressing abuse (must not glorify or eroticize)

Requirement: Content addressing sensitive topics should include appropriate content warnings.

6. Hate Speech and Discrimination

6.1 Prohibited Hate Content

We do not tolerate hate speech or discrimination based on:

• Race, ethnicity, or national origin
• Religion or religious beliefs
• Sexual orientation or gender identity
• Disability or medical condition
• Age
• Immigration status

6.2 What Constitutes Hate Speech

• Slurs and derogatory language - Using offensive terms to demean protected groups
• Dehumanization - Comparing people to animals, objects, or diseases
• Promotion of violence - Calling for harm against protected groups
• Hate symbols - Nazi imagery, KKK symbols, etc. (except in educational/historical context)
• Conspiracy theories - Promoting harmful conspiracies about protected groups

6.3 Fictional Villains vs. Hate Speech

• Do not target individuals with harassment, doxxing, or bullying
• Do not create content intended to mock, humiliate, or intimidate specific people
• Do not encourage brigading or coordinated harassment

7. Misinformation and Impersonation

7.1 Impersonation

You may NOT impersonate others or create misleading content:

• Celebrity/public figure impersonation - Pretending to be a real person
• Deepfakes - Creating realistic but fake depictions of real people without consent
• Brand impersonation - Pretending to represent a company or organization
• User impersonation - Creating accounts or content pretending to be other AIMangaMaker users

7.2 Misinformation

• Health misinformation - False medical advice, fake cures, anti-vaccine propaganda
• Election misinformation - False claims about voting, candidates, or election results
• Disaster misinformation - False information during emergencies or crises

Note: Fiction is clearly allowed. This policy targets content presented as factual that could cause real-world harm.

8. Spam and Manipulation

8.1 Prohibited Spam Activities

• Duplicate content - Uploading the same project multiple times to game rankings
• Vote manipulation - Creating fake accounts to boost ratings or views
• Clickbait - Misleading titles or descriptions designed to trick users
• External advertising - Using AIMangaMaker solely to advertise external products/services
• Comment spam - Posting repetitive, irrelevant, or promotional comments

8.2 Engagement Manipulation

• Do not buy views, ratings, or followers
• Do not use bots to inflate engagement metrics
• Do not create multiple accounts to manipulate rankings

8.3 Quality Standards

While we encourage all skill levels, we ask that content:

• Be complete or clearly marked as work-in-progress
• Have some effort put into creation (not just test content)
• Be properly categorized (manga, manhwa, novel)

9. Content Enforcement

9.1 Automated Filtering

We use automated systems to detect prohibited content:

• Prompt filtering - AI generation requests are scanned for prohibited keywords
• Image analysis - Generated images may be automatically analyzed
• Keyword detection - Content is scanned for prohibited terms

9.2 Manual Review

• User reports are reviewed by human moderators
• Flagged content is evaluated within 24-72 hours
• Context and intent are considered in decisions

9.3 Enforcement Actions

Violations may result in:

Minor Violations (First Offense):

• Content removal with warning
• Educational notice about policy violation
• Opportunity to correct and resubmit

Moderate Violations (Second Offense):

• Content removal
• 7-day account suspension
• Loss of publishing privileges during suspension

Severe Violations (Third Offense or Severe First Offense):

• Permanent account termination
• IP ban from creating new accounts
• Forfeiture of all credits and subscription benefits

Illegal Content (Zero Tolerance):

• Immediate permanent account termination
• Report to law enforcement (CSAM, terrorism, etc.)
• Cooperation with legal authorities

9.4 Appeals

If you believe enforcement action was taken in error:

• Submit an appeal to [support email] within 14 days
• Include your username, the content in question, and reasoning
• Appeals are reviewed within 7-14 business days
• Appeal decisions are final

Note: Appeals for CSAM, terrorism, or other illegal content will not be considered.

10. Reporting Violations

10.1 How to Report

If you see content that violates this policy:

• Use the Report button on the content page
• Email us at [support email] with:
  • Link to the violating content
  • Description of the violation
  • Relevant screenshots (if applicable)
• Emergency reports: For CSAM or imminent threats, email [urgent reports email]

10.2 What Happens After Reporting

1. Your report is received and logged
2. Content is reviewed within 24-72 hours
3. Appropriate action is taken if violation confirmed
4. You receive a notification of the outcome (if you provided contact info)

10.3 False Reports

• Do not abuse the reporting system
• False reports to harass users may result in account suspension
• If you're unsure if something violates policy, report it anyway - we'll review
